Knowledge Network

Created in 2008 the Knowledge Network’s purpose is to provide a safe environment where business leaders can openly discuss the challenges they face, and share the knowledge they have amassed from real experience.

Today the Knowledge Network still creates meaningful exchanges with each leader contributing their practical insights, challenges and managerial practices to the collective and shared knowledge of the group.

Experiential knowledge

Founded in 2008 by business advisor Heather Robertson in recognition of the lonely role of business leaders, and their need for a special safe environment where they can have depth of discussion with other leaders who have faced, overcome and even failed, in similar difficulties.

Enduring Membership

The Knowledge Network has continued through the years because its members value the collective wisdom and applied knowledge, together with the injection of new ideas. Some members have attended since the very first session. Most have been part of the group for more than 12 years and even the new members have been involved for around six years.

Founded on Trust

A clear member code creates trust through conduct and participation. It is not passive business networking but a serious exchange of experience, judgement, practical support and intellectual generosity. It is the networking of knowledge gained by experience.

Staying Relevant

In a noisy world that features a constant feed of information as soundbites, the Knowledge Network still reflects a quieter and more substantial idea: that experiential knowledge is of value to pressured business leaders facing increasing challenges. Grounded in the same foundations: thoughtful exchange, practical wisdom, meaningful engagement and the endured value of shared experiential knowledge.

An invitation-only forum where business leaders exchange experience, judgement, and practical support in confidence.
